The D8 Gummy Packaging
This sample of D8 THC gummies came in a recycled paper bag with a viewing window. All of Ouachita Farms’ packaging contains a QR code that allows customers to access lab test results.
These edibles test at 20mg of Delta 8 THC and 3mg of Delta 9 THC per gummy. Ouachita Farms offers US Farm Act of 2018 compliant gummies in Watermelon, Blueberry, Apple, Cherry, Blue Razzberry, and Pineapple flavors.
The sample contained five gummies. However, Ouachita Farms customers can buy these D8 gummies in a 20 pack. Larger packages have a whopping 60mg of D9 THC and 400mg of D8 THC.
What’s important to know is that the body processes both D8 THC and D9 THC into hydroxy-11-THC. This is what causes the long-lasting edible high many people are familiar with.
If you aren’t familiar with THC edibles, it is always safer to start with a quarter or half of a gummy and eat more after two hours if needed to reach the desired effect. I provide these words of caution because I usually eat a whole gummy to see what the standard dosage feels like, which might be too much for some users.
Enjoying the Ouachita Farms Delta 8 Gummies
After several days of eating these gummies, I decided that my favorite flavor was pineapple, both for the aesthetics and the taste. In terms of effects, though, every single flavor was a hard-hitter and palatable.
My tolerance isn’t the same as it used to be. What started off as an afternoon edible ended up lasting me until the next morning. That may sound like an exaggeration, but I have no other way of describing how I felt the next day.
Some people feel groggy if they wake up with an edible still in them. Rest assured that this is just a temporary state. Your body is simply telling you that you slept like a log but sleeping longer would have been nice. A good edible will put you to sleep, but it can also help you wake up high, too.
I cherish waking up high and doing morning stretches in a way that gets out all the kinks. These D8 THC gummies were kind of like a wake-and-bake. However, a more accurate description would be awake-and-still-baked. The fact that I can achieve this holy grail of highs with gummies that were shipped to my door legally is a sign of the times.
